Natsuko Mishima really sells it with the naive-damsel being unsure of what to do. She might not have a large range but she fits well into the plot. And the conversational and ending cutish/lovey relation comes across with a nice subtlety.
Plot progresses naturally with a variety in set and dialogue really sells it.
Don't know if its a manga/OG adaptation, given the plot.
