JAV Porn – What changes in the JAV world with the new law within the Japanese porn industry?
Japan recently passed an adult industry law designed to protect young girls forced to film adult movies.
This new law makes it easier for actresses to cancel their contracts without penalty and may significantly slow down film releases.
The law allows those appearing in pornographic films to cancel their contracts within one year of the film's release for any reason and without penalty. When this occurs, the video must be completely deleted, and any DVDs produced must be recovered.
The law also mandates that pornography producers wait at least one month before starting filming after the contract is signed. It also mandates a four-month waiting period between the completion of filming and the release of the work, in case the actress regrets her decision and wants to change her mind.
The reason for this law is to prevent coercion, which occurs frequently, basically involving production companies forcing women into adult films, and those who refuse are often blackmailed into returning.
However, the law is also affecting current actresses and is disrupting their schedules and earnings, meaning they will likely have fewer jobs and receive less pay as a result.
